Wolkenstar
is 16.1 hand Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association
registered bay, mare, born in April, 2000, bred by
Krammer Warmbloods of Camrose, Alberta. She is the result of a
frozen semen breeding by the Hanoverian stallion Wolkenstein II, out
of Aviary who is by the Hanoverian stallion Arkansas. "Star" is a
substantial mare with much presence and charisma. She is a quiet and
well-mannered individual, who is not "mareish" at all. She has no
stable vices and is obedient to clip, load and tie. Star is an ideal
amateur's horse but has the talent to be a competitive FEI level
horse.
Star was started under saddle by her owner as a 3 year old, mostly
doing trail riding and light ring work. As a 4 year old, she was
bred and left to mature. The same year she was presented for
breeding approval to the CWHBA and was successfully entered into the
Mare Book (M). The following year she gave birth to a lovely filly
by Freestyle and in the fall after weaning, resumed her under saddle
career at Centreline Stables.
Star made her show debut in 2006, with great success. Comments
from judges include "Very collectable" and "Can I ride her?" She
often scores “8”on her paces and has received scores as high as 75%
(FEI “0” judge Anne Gribbons!). Star is training all Third Level
movements well, including flying changes and half passes.
