Karen’s talent in sourcing and evaluating prospects on behalf of her valued clients goes beyond her years of experience and expertise. She prides herself on her ability to find suitable matches of both horse and rider.

		Wendelkin 4 year old Hanoverian (by Weltmeyer) "My first introduction to Karen Pavicic and Centre Line Stables was in 1998. That year I was lucky enough to lease Delight, Karen's grand prix school master. Unfortunately, it was only for a brief time as his life was cut short by a painful lameness. However, having experienced a new level of horsemanship I was keen to continue with Karen. I purchased Fragonard as a two year old in 1998. I bought him impulsively when I fell in love with a video clip of him! Fragonard was a beautiful horse but because of chronic pain issues I never rode him, and he also grew too big for me. I enjoyed every minute of owning him. It was very rewarding to watch the Karen train Fragonard to Prix St. George and ultimately, she found a wonderful home for him too. In 2004 I decided that I wanted to get back in the saddle. I had owned and ridden two horses in the 1990's; neither was well suited to dressage. This time I was determined to get off to the right start with a suitable horse. I had seen for myself that Karen had considerable expertise at picking good horses and match them to a rider's ability and personality. Karen took a liking to a green four year old that she had a video of. He was in Montreal, so we jumped on a plane to see him. It was apparent that this athletic youngster had an outstanding character and temperament and with a bit of training Karen felt that he could be the horse I was looking for. Well, I can't say enough about what a wonderful horse 'Sukhi' has grown into. With Karen's dedicated training program, and supportive lessons I believe, for the first time (better late than never) that I am making progress in dressage. I enjoy every minute spent with this great little horse! Sukhi is more than I could have imagined a horse could be. Every time I ride I learn something more about this wonderful sport. 		Felix 8 year old Westphalian (by Florestan) "Karen has cultivated successful relationships with professionals on an international level, enabling her to readily locate and assess quality prospects for consideration. As a novice, I rely on her entirely, and her recommendation alone was sufficient for me to commit to a trip to Germany. We assessed a number of different prospects, and the mutually respectful relationship between Karen and her European counterparts was apparent. Because of that, the trip was extremely enjoyable and productive – all of the prospects presented to us matched our “wish list” criteria, and reflected my own capabilities, requirements, goals and personality. The result of our brief trip is what I had previously considered to be a near-impossible goal: the “perfect horse.” Felix and I could not be more perfect for each other, and my new equine partner never fails to exceed my expectations in every way.
